Position: QA Analyst
Location: Pune
Position Overview: Suesys, a reputed IT solutions company, is currently seeking a talented QA Analyst to join our team. As a QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 0-3 years of experience in QA to contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the project team to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements.
- Test Case Development: Design and develop test cases and test scenarios to ensure maximum test coverage and traceability.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases and conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Defect Management: Identify and document software defects using bug tracking tools. Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Test Reporting: Generate test reports summarizing test results, defects, and overall software quality. Communicate findings to the project team and stakeholders.
- Test Automation: Collaborate with the automation team to identify suitable test cases for automation. Contribute to test script development and execution.
- Test Environment Setup: Assist in setting up and configuring test environments, including test data and test tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and project success.
- Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in QA. Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 0-3 years of experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar role.
- Education: Any graduate from a recognized university.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in manual testing, test case design, and test execution.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management tools.
- Basic knowledge of test automation tools, such as Selenium or JUnit, is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and tools.
