Job Description:

As a Specialist – Quality Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through comprehensive testing methodologies. Your expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing will contribute to our goal of delivering superior solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong Testing Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Manual and Automation Testing concepts, utilizing your experience to develop and execute effective testing strategies.
  • Automation Skills: Possess strong automation script creation skills using languages such as Java, Selenium, VBScript, or Groovy Script. You should have successfully delivered at least one Automation Project using Selenium (Java) or Ready API (Groovy Script).
  • Database and ETL Testing: Showcase knowledge and experience in Database and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing, adding an advantage to your testing capabilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Display a robust command over essential technologies, including SQL scripting, PL/SQL, and API testing. Familiarity with tools like Postman, Ready API, Soap UI, or Rest-Assured for API testing is essential.
  • Functional and Automation Testing: Create functional automation scripts using Selenium and Java, along with SQL queries to validate business rules and calculations across tables.
  • Diverse Testing Experience: Exhibit experience in various testing domains, such as MS Excel Add-in, Web, cross-browser, mobile testing, and web service testing.
  • Agile Environment: Work seamlessly in an Agile environment, adhering to QA best practices and contributing to sprint planning sessions and test approaches.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead test efforts, mentor staff, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Communicate proficiently through strong verbal and written skills.
  • Regression and Automation: Perform functional, integration, regression, and re-testing. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of an automated regression test suite.
  • Risk Mitigation and Bug Tracking: Analyze product requirements, apply a risk-based test approach, and manage bug tracking while maintaining comprehensive test documentation.
  • Global Collaboration: Cooperate and collaborate with teams across different geographic locations to ensure seamless testing processes.
  • Issue Resolution and Support: Provide prompt response and support in resolving critical issues, working closely with the development team.
  • Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-14 years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering and Testing.
  • Strong command over Manual and Automation Testing concepts.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Selenium, VBScript, or Groovy Script.
  • Experience in Database and ETL testing.
  • Knowledge of SQL scripting, PL/SQL, and API testing tools.
  • Experience with tools like Postman, Ready API, Soap UI, or Rest-Assured.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel Add-in, Web, cross-browser, and mobile testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter) is a plus.
