Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing, with hands-on experience in cloud migration projects. Automation experience is a significant plus for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. ETL Testing:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and transformation logic.
   • Develop and execute ETL test cases, scenarios, and scripts to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
   • Identify, document, and report defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
   • Validate data integration processes to ensure data consistency and reliability.
2. Cloud Migration:
   • Utilize your expertise in cloud migration to assess, plan, and execute migration strategies.
   • Test data migration processes to ensure data integrity during and after migration.
   • Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to identify and mitigate migration-related issues.
   • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-related issues, providing recommendations for optimization.
3. Automation:
   • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for ETL and cloud migration processes.
   • Implement best practices for test automation and continuously improve testing efficiency.
   • Work on test automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing efforts.
4. Documentation:
   • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
   • Maintain comprehensive documentation for test processes and results.
   • Collaborate with other team members to document best practices and knowledge sharing.
5. Relocation (if required):
   • Be open to the possibility of relocating to Pune, India, in the future, as per company requirements.
   • Participate in discussions and planning related to potential relocation.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in ETL testing, including hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Proven experience in cloud migration projects, particularly with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Immediate to 30 days notice period preferred.
• Must have the flexibility to relocate to Pune, India, if required.
