Are you a seasoned ETL and Database Tester with a passion for ensuring data accuracy and reliability? It is seeking a talented Senior ETL and Database Tester to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in validating ETL processes and database systems, ensuring the quality of our data-driven applications.

- ETL Testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive ETL test plans and test cases to verify data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Database Testing: Perform rigorous testing of database systems, including data validation, integrity checks, and performance testing.
- Data Quality Assurance: Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to maintain and enhance data quality standards.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression tests to ensure existing ETL processes and database functions continue to operate flawlessly after system updates.
- Defect Management: Document and track defects, work closely with developers to resolve issues, and validate fixes.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in ETL and database processes.
- Reporting: Create detailed test reports, share findings with stakeholders, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, procedures, and results for audit and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in ETL and database testing.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying.
- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and tools.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
