Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Python ETL Testing expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience and a strong background in Python scripting, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data testing. This role is based in Bangalore or Pune and requires immediate to 15 days’ notice period joiners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ETL Testing: Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
2. Python Scripting: Utilize Python scripting for test automation and data validation.
3. Test Strategy: Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases to validate data transformations and ensure they meet business requirements.
4. Data Validation: Validate data quality, completeness, and correctness during ETL processes.
5. Defect Identification: Identify, document, and report defects using appropriate testing tools and methodologies.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and business analysts, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality data solutions.
7. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to optimize ETL processes and ensure efficient data loading and transformation.
8. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in Python ETL Testing.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting for test automation.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to convey testing results and issues clearly.
