Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and motivated ETL Testing professionals with a strong background in Database Testing to play a pivotal role in ensuring data quality and reliability within our projects. As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct comprehensive testing, and contribute to the success of our clients’ data integration initiatives.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Relevant certifications in testing or related domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with project teams to understand ETL requirements and data integration processes.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Conduct Database Testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
• Create and execute complex SQL queries to verify data transformation and migration.
• Perform data reconciliation and identify discrepancies, defects, and anomalies.
• Automate test scripts using ETL testing tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to address and resolve testing-related issues.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress and contribute to test strategy development.
• Participate in peer reviews of test cases and test data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in ETL Testing and Database Testing.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and querying.
• Strong understanding of ETL tools and processes (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
• Hands-on experience with ETL testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Familiarity with data quality and data governance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
