Job Summary:
As an ETL Tester at SA Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our data integration processes. You will work closely with our development and data engineering teams to validate ETL workflows, conduct data testing, and identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies. This role requires a solid understanding of ETL concepts, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

- ETL Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing of ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading, to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL workflows.
- Data Validation: Verify data completeness, correctness, and consistency by comparing source and target data.
- Defect Identification: Identify and report defects, anomalies, and data quality issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that ETL processes continue to function correctly after changes or enhancements.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed test documentation and provide clear and concise test reports.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or equivalent OR Master’s degree in Computer Science (MCA/M.Sc./M.E./M.Tech/MBA).
- Proven experience in ETL testing, with 5 to 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and tools.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
