We are currently seeking experienced ETL Testers to work on a Contract-to-Hire basis with one of our esteemed IT MNC clients. Responsibilities:

As an ETL Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of data integration and transformation processes within our client’s data ecosystem. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Proficient in Oracle Database: Utilize your expertise in Oracle Database to perform data validation, including performance tuning of queries, and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  2. Test Preparation Activities: Take charge of test planning and test case preparation for data validation in databases. You will design and execute comprehensive test scenarios to validate the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data transformations.
  3. Python Scripting and Automation: Utilize Python scripting or other relevant automation tools/languages to build robust and efficient test scripts, automated test suites, and test frameworks. Automation is a key aspect of the role to ensure scalability and repeatability of tests.
  4. Agile Test Management: Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies, including Agile test management practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with project timelines and objectives.

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  1. Strong ETL Testing Background: A minimum of 4 years of experience in ETL testing is required, with a proven track record of ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  2. Oracle Database Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle Database is essential, including experience in performance tuning of queries.
  3. Test Planning and Execution: Demonstrated ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, and execute test scenarios to validate data transformations effectively.
  4. Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python scripting is highly desirable, along with experience in other automation tools or languages used for test automation.
  5. Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development practices and methodologies, specifically related to test management in an Agile environment.
  6. Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, understand requirements, and communicate testing results effectively.
  7. Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions.
