Job Description:

We are actively looking for a highly skilled and experienced ETL Tester to join our team. This is an urgent requirement, and we are seeking immediate joiners who can contribute their expertise in ETL DWH Testing, DataMart, and SQL. Key Responsibilities:

As an ETL Tester, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. ETL Testing: Perform end-to-end testing of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with business requirements.
  2. DataMart Testing: Test DataMart structures and validate data transformations to ensure they meet the desired objectives.
  3. SQL Proficiency: Utilize SQL queries to extract and validate data, as well as identify discrepancies and anomalies.
  4. Test Planning: Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts that comprehensively cover ETL processes and DataMart structures.
  5. Data Validation: Verify the completeness and correctness of data by comparing source and target datasets.
  6. Defect Identification: Identify and document defects, issues, and deviations from established standards, working closely with the development team to resolve them.
  7. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that changes or enhancements do not adversely impact existing ETL processes.
  8. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and testing processes.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and business analysts, to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  1. Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in ETL testing, with a strong focus on Data Warehouse (DWH) testing.
  2. ETL DWH Testing: Expertise in ETL DWH testing methodologies and best practices.
  3. DataMart Knowledge: Familiarity with DataMart structures and data modeling.
  4. SQL Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
  5. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify data discrepancies and anomalies.
  6. Test Planning: Experience in test planning, test case development, and test execution.
  7. Regression Testing: Knowledge of regression testing principles and techniques.
  8. Communication: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
