Miracle Software Systems is seeking an experienced ETL Tester to join our team in Visakhapatnam. As an ETL Tester, you will be a crucial part of ensuring the quality and reliability of our ETL processes, data pipelines, and business intelligence solutions. - ETL Testing: Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard tools like Snowflake, Matillion, Power BI, and Jira to streamline testing processes and enhance collaboration.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Data Validation: Verify data transformations and loading processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Regression Testing: Execute regression testing to detect and address any issues in data pipelines.
- Documentation: Generate thorough test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- BI Testing: Validate business intelligence solutions, including dashboards and reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with ETL developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in ETL testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 – 7 years of hands-on experience in ETL testing, with expertise in Snowflake, Matillion, Power BI, and Jira.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and querying.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and databases.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Experience with Agile development and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
