Are you an experienced ETL Tester looking for a new opportunity in KL, Malaysia? We are actively seeking ETL Testers to join our team and contribute to our data testing processes. Key Responsibilities:

As an ETL Tester, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. ETL Testing: Conducting end-to-end testing of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
2. SQL Expertise: Writing and executing SQL queries for data validation, transformation, and quality checks.
3. SDC Type 2: Applying your knowledge of Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) type 2 to handle historical data in ETL processes.
4. Test Plan Preparation: Creating comprehensive test plans that outline the scope, objectives, and approach for testing ETL processes.
5. Data Model Understanding: Having a basic understanding of data models to effectively validate data structures and relationships.
6. Data Loading Activities: Gaining familiarity with data loading activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading, to ensure smooth data flow.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ETL testing and data quality assurance.
• SQL Proficiency: Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries for data validation and manipulation.
• SDC Type 2: Sound knowledge of Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) type 2 and its application in ETL processes.
• Test Plan Preparation: Ability to create detailed test plans to guide testing activities effectively.
• Data Model Basics: A basic understanding of data modeling concepts to validate data structures.
• Data Loading Knowledge: Familiarity with data loading activities and data flow within ETL processes.
• Good Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address data quality issues.
• Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail is essential for conducting thorough data validation.
