Key Responsibilities:

1. ETL Testing: Conduct comprehensive ETL testing to validate data accuracy and consistency across various stages of the data pipeline.
2. Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements and data transformation logic.
3. SQL Proficiency: Create and execute SQL queries to validate data transformations and identify discrepancies.
4. Data Validation: Ensure data completeness, correctness, and adherence to business rules and standards.
5. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to prevent the introduction of defects during ETL process enhancements.
6. Performance Testing: Evaluate the efficiency and scalability of ETL processes through performance testing.
7. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, test results, and defects, ensuring clear communication within the team.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and business analysts, to resolve data-related issues.
9. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve data-related issues promptly and implement preventive measures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 to 7 years of proven experience as an ETL Tester.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and testing purposes.
• Familiarity with Information ETL Testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
• ISTQB certification (optional but advantageous).
