Position: ETL Tester
Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced ETL Testers to join our team. As an ETL Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. You will work closely with the development and testing teams to design and execute test plans, perform data validations, and identify and report defects. Strong knowledge of ETL testing, SQL, Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts, and testing methodologies is required for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development and testing teams to understand the ETL requirements and data transformations.
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL testing.
- Execute test cases and perform data validations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the ETL processes.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects using appropriate defect tracking tools.
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve defects.
- Validate data integrity and accuracy by conducting data comparisons and reconciliations.
- Understand Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts and apply them to ETL testing.
- Perform SQL queries to verify data transformations and data quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of ETL solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in ETL testing and data integration.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ETL testing.
- Strong knowledge of ETL testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and report defects effectively.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
