Job Description: EY is seeking highly skilled and motivated Azure Data Engineers to join our dynamic team. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that drive business insights and support decision-making processes for our clients. Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data solutions using Azure technologies such as Spark, Synapse, Streaming, Synapse SQL pools, and Synapse pipelines.
2. SQL Coding: Write and optimize SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
3. Data Validation: Conduct SQL and database-based validations to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
4. ETL Process: Hands-on experience in ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
5. Streaming Data: Work with real-time data streams to support data-driven decision-making.
6. API Testing: Knowledge of API testing and experience with automation tools for testing data pipelines and data integrations.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
8. Performance Optimization: Optimize data pipelines and processes for performance and scalability.
9. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data solutions, processes, and workflows.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience: 5 years or more of hands-on experience in data engineering and Azure technologies.
3. Technical Skills:
   • Proficiency in Spark, Synapse, Streaming, Synapse SQL pools, and Synapse pipelines.
   • Strong SQL coding skills.
   • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and testing.
   • Knowledge of API testing and automation tools is a plus.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
5. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve data-related issues.
6. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new tools and platforms as needed.
7. Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
