Job Description:

Are you an enthusiastic Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in testing, especially in the domain of data platforms, ETL data processing, and API testing? As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our software products. You will be involved in challenging projects related to data platforms, Master Data Management (MDM), data pipelines, ETL data processing, and Data APIs. This role requires expertise in automation testing, proficiency in Selenium, Java, Rest Assured, and a strong command of SQL queries for data validation. Additionally, knowledge of cloud ecosystems such as Azure and AWS is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and Rest Assured to ensure the quality of our software products.
2. Data Testing: Execute testing activities related to Data Platforms, MDM, data pipelines, ETL data processing, and Data APIs.
3. SQL Proficiency: Create and execute SQL queries for data validation, data creation, and data manipulation.
4. Cloud Integration: Collaborate with cloud ecosystems, particularly Azure and AWS, to facilitate testing in cloud environments.
5. CI/CD Pipelines: Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle.
6. Testing Types: Conduct various types of testing, including Unit, Integration, API, Smoke, System, and Performance testing.
7. Test Planning: Contribute to test planning activities and test data management to support complex data and cloud landscapes.
8. Database Knowledge: Utilize working knowledge of Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, ETL tools, and data warehouse architectures.
9. QA Methodologies: Apply QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes to ensure product quality.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: 3-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
2. Automation Tools: Proficiency in Selenium, Java, and Rest Assured for test automation.
3. Data Testing: Experience in Data Platforms, MDM, data pipelines, ETL data processing, and Data APIs.
4. SQL Skills: Strong SQL skills for data validation, data creation, and manipulation.
5. Cloud Experience: Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS ecosystems is highly desired.
6. CI/CD Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, in-sprint test automation, and CI integration.
7. Testing Types: Working knowledge of various types of testing (Unit, Integration, API, Smoke, System, Performance, etc.).
8. Test Planning: Ability to contribute to test planning, test data management, automated & manual test execution, and test management tools.
9. Database Knowledge: Working knowledge of Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, ETL tools, and data warehouse architectures is preferred.
10. QA Methodologies: Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes.
