Data Management Consultant | 3 to 12 years | Pan India
Job Description
- Provide consultative guidance on data management and data governance related principles within the practice, while working on solution accelerators, DM assets and external client proposals
- Design and manage data management solution accelerators w.r.t data privacy, data security, data governance and other aspects of data management
- Develop conceptual/logical data models in alignment with industry, business use case, client requirements etc
- Develop data management framework/processes on data stewardship, master data management, data governance, reference data management etc., aligned with the key industry specific business processes, government regulations and other risk and regulatory requirements
- Design and architect solutions around the data management assets and accelerators
- Also focus on the latest trends in data management and work on building assets and capabilities around it
- Deliver on data projects for key clients and produce case studies to promote the data management practice
- Work with the Business to strategize and develop solution using DM tools like Collibra, BigId, Talend, Informatica etc.
Primary Skills
- Strong experience in solution design, planning and implementation of enterprise wide data management programs.
- Must have worked on conceptual and logical data modelling
- Must have worked on building data dictionary, business glossary, data quality rules and other aspects of data governance
- Must have worked on data profiling and data discovery
- Must have hands on experience on any DG tools like Collibra, IBM IGC, Informatica Axon etc.
- Preferred to have hands on experience on any ETL Tool, database configuration
- Creative and problem-solving skills with the ability to assist team members in solving their problems
- Strong communication skills and multiple stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle using the Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical and technical skills with experience of working in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Independent, proactive with an assured commitment to take on challenging leadership assignments
Secondary Skills
University degree or equivalent with a minimum of 8/10/12 years of relevant work experience
Should possess strong data management capabilities and understanding
