About The Role

As a Senior Automation QA you help prevent shipping defects, accelerate delivery and improve quality in our leading customer-engagement product as part of a cross-functional team, directly contributing to feature development and maintenance. You are responsible for designing and implementing test automation practices in close collaboration with engineering and product. You share a passion for high-quality software and strong engineering principles.

What you will do

  • Build and/or grow our existing automation framework, developing new automation tests (functional, end-to-end, performance) and tools for our frontend, backend APIs and services.
  • Ensure that shipped features are tested and meet customer requirements
  • Prepare test cases based on product requirements, update regression suites
  • Enable engineers to design and implement tests in an efficient way by providing them with the right tools, frameworks, and infrastructure. 
  • Partner with engineers to build and maintain tooling for test development, automation and release processes.
  • Evangelize test automation best practices to the entire engineering organization.
  • Mentor junior engineers both technically and culturally.
  • Guide teams to improve code maintainability.

What we are looking for

Must have:

  • CS degree or equivalent
  • Problem-solving mindset, self-starter, passion for quality
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience in test automation and infrastructure
  • Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, and/or Python, ability to write scripts and small tools
  • Proficiency with Selenium, XPath, Cucumber, TestNG, Postman
  • Git knowledge
  • Experience with Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins or other) 

Good to have:

  • Knowledge of Load testing
  • Experience with TestCafe
  • ISTQB certification is a plus
