Job Description

• ​​​​​​6+ years Senior BI Reporting resource with 4 years on Power BI with knowledge in Microsoft BI Stack.
• Build Analysis Services reporting models.
• Create report analysis, design documents, test cases.
• Develop tabular/multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards.
• Build operational and analytical reports and dashboards with Power BI.
• Create KPI scorecards, customized charts, custom calculations, effective visualizations as per requirements
• Write efficient DAX queries and functions.
• Implement appropriate security level on data access.
• Plan and implement report test strategies and perform testing
• Troubleshoot and fix report data, performance issues.

Primary Skills

• 6+ years of experience in BI Reporting & Analytical Dashboards
• 4 years on Power BI
• Expertise in applying analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
• Hands on experience in implementing tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards
• Experienced in MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX
• Experience in performance improvement of models and reports

Secondary Skills

• Strong understanding of application security layer models in Power BI and its application like row level security
• Data warehouse development experience on SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS is desirable
