Position: Web Hybrid Tester
Location: Gurgaon
Responsibilities:
- Web application testing: Perform functional testing of web applications to ensure that they meet the specified requirements and deliver a seamless user experience.
- Automation testing: Develop and execute automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
- API testing: Conduct API testing to verify the integrity and functionality of web services, ensuring proper data exchange and integration between various components of the application.
- Test planning and strategy: Collaborate with the project team to define test objectives, create test plans, and develop testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Test case design and execution: Design and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, identifying and documenting defects and deviations from expected results.
- Test environment setup: Configure and maintain test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations, to ensure accurate testing conditions.
- Test data management: Develop and maintain test data sets, ensuring the availability of valid and relevant data for testing purposes.
- Test reporting and documentation: Prepare test reports, including test execution summaries, defect reports, and status updates, and maintain detailed documentation of test activities and results.
- Defect management: Track, monitor, and report defects using defect tracking tools, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuous improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2 to 7 years of professional experience in web application testing, including functional, automation, and API testing.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, protocols, and standards.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or Cypress.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
