Position: UI Automation Testing Engineer
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated UI Automation Testing Engineer to join our team. As a UI Automation Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our web applications through automated testing using Selenium. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand the application requirements and testing needs.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases, test plans, and test strategies based on project requirements.
• Identify, analyze, and report software defects, bugs, and inconsistencies, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes and enhancements do not negatively impact the existing functionality.
• Create and maintain test data, test environments, and test infrastructure required for automated testing.
• Participate in code and design reviews to provide feedback on testability, test coverage, and quality improvements.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the testing efforts.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in UI automation testing and incorporate them into the testing process.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, share knowledge, and promote a culture of quality assurance within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in UI automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience in designing and developing automated test frameworks and test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Sound understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
