Position: UI Automation Engineer

AnnexACC, a leading technology company, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI Automation Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in UI automation testing and hands-on experience in Squish, a popular automated GUI testing framework for HTML-based/web applications running in various browsers such as Apple Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Internet Explorer and Edge. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Squish UI Automation Script Development and testing, along with proficiency in Python, Ruby, Perl, or Tcl scripting languages. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute UI automation scripts using Squish for web applications running in different browsers.
- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks.
- Perform UI automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications.
- Utilize Squish, an automated GUI testing framework, to test HTML-based/web applications.
- Write efficient and reusable code in Python, Ruby, Perl, or Tcl scripting languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them to resolution.
- Continuously enhance and improve UI automation frameworks and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in UI automation testing.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in UI automation testing.
- Hands-on experience in Squish for automated GUI testing of web applications.
- Strong knowledge of HTML-based/web applications running in various browsers.
- Proficiency in Apple Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Internet Explorer and Edge.
- Expertise in Squish UI Automation Script Development and testing.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Ruby, Perl, or Tcl scripting languages.
- Experience in developing test automation frameworks.
- Sound understanding of software development and deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
