Position: SDET / QA Automation Engineer

Location: Gurgaon, Hyderabad

PureSoftware Ltd, a leading technology company, is currently hiring for the position of SDET / QA Automation Engineer. We are looking for talented individuals with 5-8 years of experience in test automation using Selenium with Java and C#. The ideal candidate should have expertise in BDD using SpecFlow, Cucumber, and Gherkin, as well as experience in Performance Testing using JMeter. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java and C#.
• Write efficient and reliable automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using SpecFlow, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Perform Performance Testing using JMeter to evaluate system performance and scalability.
• Conduct API and GUI automation testing to validate system functionality.
• Utilize Rest Sharp library for API automation.
• Apply advanced knowledge of OOP/OOD, Design patterns, and SOLID principles in test automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure effective test coverage.
• Work in an “AGILE + DevOps” process management methodology.
• Utilize modern DevOps tools like Git, TeamCity, TFS, etc. for test automation and CI/CD processes.
• Identify and report software defects, track them to resolution, and verify fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in test automation using Selenium with Java and C#.
• Strong proficiency in BDD using SpecFlow, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Experience in Performance Testing using JMeter.
• Proficiency in API and GUI automation testing.
• Knowledge of Rest Sharp library for API automation.
• Advanced understanding of OOP/OOD, Design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with the “AGILE + DevOps” process management methodology.
• Experience with modern DevOps tools like Git, TeamCity, TFS, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
