Position Overview: TCS is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in Automation Testing to join our team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the success of our clients.

Salary: INR 8 – 10 LPA (Expected)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance engineers, to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools.
• Execute automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
• Analyze test results and identify defects, working closely with the development team for timely resolution.
• Contribute to test planning and estimation activities, ensuring test coverage and adherence to project timelines.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality and maintainability of the codebase.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in automation testing.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in automation testing.
• Ensure compliance with software quality standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on designing and executing automated test scripts.
• Strong knowledge of automation testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Proficiency in at least one automation testing tool/framework (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, test case design, and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
