As a Software Tester at FIS Global, your responsibilities will include:
- Test Script Development: Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets, and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
- Usability Testing: Perform usability testing to assess the overall system performance, reliability, scalability, and security of software applications.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that software products meet and exceed quality standards, identifying and reporting defects and issues for resolution.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test plans that align with project requirements and timelines.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, both manually and using automated testing tools, and meticulously document test results.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to verify that new features and updates do not introduce defects.
- Scalability Testing: Perform scalability testing to evaluate the software’s ability to handle increased loads and concurrent users.
- Security Testing: Participate in security testing efforts to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the security of software applications.
Required Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- 3+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in software testing.
- Test Script Development: Proficiency in developing and maintaining test scripts, both manual and automated.
- Usability Testing: Experience in usability testing to assess software performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Quality Assurance: Strong commitment to ensuring software quality and delivering reliable solutions.
- Test Planning: Ability to create comprehensive test plans that align with project goals and timelines.
- Regression Testing: Experience in conducting regression testing to verify the stability of software updates.
- Scalability Testing: Familiarity with scalability testing to evaluate software performance under load.
- Security Testing: Knowledge of security testing methodologies and practices.
