Position: SDET (Selenium)

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad

Job Summary: Net2Source Inc., a leading global staffing and consulting firm, is seeking a skilled SDET (Selenium) to join our team for one of our esteemed Global Fintech Global clients. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of experience in software test automation using Java/J2EE, C#, Python, with a deep understanding of API automation and hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript. The candidate should also possess experience in CI/CD tools like Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG, along with exposure to non-functional testing and automation lifecycle activities. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute software test automation frameworks and scripts using Java/J2EE, C#, Python, Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript.
• Create and maintain API automation test scripts to ensure the reliability and quality of software applications.
• Utilize CI/CD tools like Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG to implement and manage continuous test automation processes.
• Enable in-sprint automation for non-functional testing areas such as Performance (JMeter), Accessibility (Jaws), and Visual (Applitools).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA engineers, to ensure the timely and effective delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, estimations, and proof of concept (PoC) activities related to automation test projects.
• Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts, providing efficient and effective solutions to practical problems.
• Take ownership of the delivery process, ensuring that projects are completed in an independent and efficient manner.
• Demonstrate strong programming logic and problem-solving capabilities while adhering to industry best practices and standards.
• Conduct manual testing on web applications when required and provide valuable insights and feedback.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks in the automation testing field.
• Collaborate with the team to improve testing processes, methodologies, and overall quality standards.

Requirements: Must-Have:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in software test automation using Java/J2EE, C#, Python.
• Strong understanding of OOPS concepts, design patterns, recursive and non-recursive programming, method overloading, method overriding, Array list, Vector, Serialization, HashSet, etc.
• Excellent exposure to API automation and working knowledge of tools like Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG.
• Experience in in-sprint automation in an Agile development environment.
• Proficiency in continuous test automation using tools like Jenkins and ADO.
• Familiarity with non-functional testing areas like Performance (JMeter), Accessibility (Jaws), and Visual (Applitools).
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to provide practical solutions for complex problems.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive delivery in an efficient and timely manner.
• Strong programming logic and problem-solving capabilities.

Good-to-Have:

• Manual testing experience on web applications.
• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible/Chef, Docker, MongoDB, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Nexus/JFrog, etc.
• Familiarity with code quality tools like Sonar, Jacoco, and SeaLights.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and their applicability to testing.
• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts.
