Position: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) – QA Application Team
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design QA automation frameworks: Create robust and efficient QA automation frameworks, utilizing your expertise in automation framework development and design. Preferred programming language: Python.
- UI Automation with Selenium: Perform UI automation testing using Selenium with the preferred programming language Python.
- Backend application automation: Automate testing for backend applications using the preferred framework Pytest.
- Relational database knowledge: Apply your good knowledge of relational databases to ensure effective testing and data validation.
- Debugging skills: Utilize your strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues encountered during testing.
- Linux/Unix environment: Work comfortably in a Linux/Unix environment, ensuring seamless integration and testing.
- Testing methodologies: Apply a strong understanding of testing methodologies to ensure comprehensive and effective testing practices.
- Performance testing with JMeter: Perform performance testing using JMeter, ensuring optimal application performance.
- Collaborate with the team: Work closely with the UI/API Application Team to develop and test solutions focused on supply path optimizations, contributing to the security, stability, and efficiency of the PubMatic Platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. A master’s degree is desirable.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in SDET or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with QA automation framework development and design.
- Proficiency in Python for automation testing.
- Experience in UI automation using Selenium with Python.
- Hands-on experience in automating backend applications, with preferred experience in Pytest.
- Good knowledge of relational databases.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Familiarity with working in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies.
- Experience in performance testing using JMeter is a plus.
