Job Role and Responsibilities: As a Salesforce QA at SYMPHONI HR, you will be a vital part of ensuring the quality and reliability of our client’s Salesforce applications. Your role will encompass various aspects of testing, collaboration, and communication. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Execute manual and automated tests on Salesforce applications, ensuring the accuracy of features, functionalities, and integrations.
  • Leverage your Salesforce Admin Certification to validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, and customizations.
  • Conduct different types of testing, including but not limited to functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Utilize API testing tools like Postman to validate integrations and data exchange between Salesforce and other systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  • Create detailed test plans that encompass test objectives, scope, resources, and schedules.
  • Exhibit a proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate, adapt, and extend working hours as needed to achieve stretch goals or meet project demands.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) principles and practices.
  • Showcase strong communication and vocabulary skills, with the ability to effectively articulate test scenarios, issues, and reports.
  • Familiarity with Jira and its functionalities, as it is extensively used by Salesforce clients, with the ability to efficiently manage tasks and defects.
  • While performance testing is not currently within the scope, a foundational understanding would be beneficial.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of the QA process through your insights and suggestions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience with Salesforce Admin Certification is mandatory.
  • Additional certification in one of the Salesforce Clouds (Sales/Service) is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with an assertive approach and an expansive vocabulary.
  • Collaborative attitude, agility, and flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and timelines.
  • Proficiency in various testing methodologies and a good grasp of different testing types.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
  • Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) principles.
  • Familiarity with Jira for effective task and defect management.
  • Automation testing background would be an advantage.
