As a Quality Analyst at [Startup Fintech Company], you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile and web applications. You will be responsible for manual and automation testing, API testing, database testing, and more. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make an impact in the fintech industry.

- Mobile and Web App Testing: Conduct hands-on testing of both mobile and web applications, with a focus on functionality, usability, and performance.
- API Testing: Utilize tools like Postman and SOAP UI to perform API testing, ensuring seamless integration and data flow.
- Database Testing: Validate data integrity and accuracy through systematic database testing.
- Server Log Analysis: Monitor server logs to identify issues and discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the QA team to plan, execute, and enhance functional tests.
- Test Strategy: Develop and maintain functional test strategies, plans, and cases for new feature development within an Agile Scrum environment.
- Requirements Analysis: Understand complex requirements and translate them into test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Regression Testing: Validate bug fixes and create automated regression tests to ensure the stability of the software.
- Peer Review: Review test cases and defects created by peers to maintain quality standards.
- Reporting and Metrics: Prepare and maintain QA analysis, including metrics and reports. Actively participate in Agile retrospectives and suggest solutions to product problems.
- Product Understanding: Collaborate with Product Managers and Business Owners to understand the product thoroughly and derive an effective test strategy.
- Quality Improvement: Investigate product quality to identify areas for improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of a best-in-class QA capability, working closely with management.
- Testing Types: Conduct various testing types, including sanity, functional, integration, exploratory, and system testing.
- Fintech Experience: Prior experience in the fintech industry is a plus.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases and test results.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with geographically distributed team members.
- Agile and Waterfall: Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall development environments.
- Test Case Management: Proficiency in test case management tools such as X-ray, Zephyr, TestRail, etc.
