As a QA Tester at Persistent Systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for conducting automation testing using Java and Selenium WebDriver, and your strong communication skills will be essential for collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver to verify the functionality and performance of software applications.
- Test Script Development: Create clear and maintainable test scripts that cover a wide range of test scenarios.
- Test Case Design: Collaborate with the QA team to design test cases based on project requirements and user stories.
- Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts, record and analyze test results, and report defects to the development team.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not introduce new issues.
- Test Data Management: Manage and maintain test data to support test execution.
- Defect Reporting: Isolate, replicate, and report defects, and verify defect fixes.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test scripts, test cases, and test results.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Solid understanding of automation testing best practices and methodologies.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Detail-oriented with a strong passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with regression testing and test case management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
