- API Integration and Validation: Utilize your experience in Rest API integrations to design, develop, and execute comprehensive validation tests.
- Automation Testing: Lead the development of automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Open API Frameworks: Utilize your expertise in Open API frameworks like Swagger to ensure accurate API documentation and functionality.
- Test Planning: Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases based on user stories.
- Test-Driven Development: Promote test-driven design and development practices, including unit and integration testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Database Testing: Conduct thorough database/backend testing, including writing complex SQL queries for data validation and integrity.
- Agile Development: Collaborate within an agile development team (Scrum) and maintain effective communication regarding project limitations, capability, and performance requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Apply strong analytical skills to address problems in a structured and creative manner, contributing innovative ideas to the team.

- Cloud Experience: Work with Docker and Kubernetes, and experience with Google Cloud (GCP).
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing using relevant tools to assess system scalability and performance.
- Leadership: Lead and guide the QA team, ensuring best practices, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 to 12 years of experience in QA, including API integrations, automation testing, and leadership.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Strong understanding of Rest APIs and Open API frameworks like Swagger.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Expertise in unit, functional integration, user acceptance, system, and security testing of APIs.
- Knowledge of at least one automation tool (Selenium, Appium, or Cypress).
- Strong command of SQL for complex database testing.
- Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like JavaScript (a plus).
- Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud (GCP) and performance testing tools.
