Key Responsibilities:

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Test Case Design: Creating and documenting detailed test cases and test scenarios to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  2. Test Execution: Executing test cases, performing functional, regression, and integration testing, and reporting defects and issues.
  3. Automation Testing: Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cypress to ensure efficient and thorough testing.
  4. Defect Tracking: Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues, and working closely with the development team for their resolution.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensuring that software products meet and exceed quality standards and are ready for release.
  6. Test Planning: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test plans and strategies for projects.
  7. API Testing: Conducting API testing to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of APIs.
  8. Reporting: Generating and maintaining test reports and status updates to communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improving and optimizing test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills:

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • 2+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automation testing.
  • Java: Strong coding skills in Java for test script development and maintenance.
  • Selenium: Proficiency in using Selenium for automated testing of web applications.
  • Cypress: Experience in using Cypress for end-to-end testing of web applications.
  • Test Case Design: Proficiency in designing and documenting test cases and test scenarios.
  • Defect Tracking: Strong skills in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues.
  • API Testing: Experience in API testing to validate the functionality and performance of APIs.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
