Position: QA Engineer (Manual Testing, Test Automation, Functional Testing)
Location: Hyderabad
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions. We are currently seeking experienced QA Engineers with expertise in Manual Testing, Test Automation, and Functional Testing for a contract to hire position. The role will be based in Hyderabad.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Develop and execute manual test cases and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
- Conduct functional testing to verify the software meets specified requirements.
- Perform test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and integration testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with developers to resolve them.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization activities.
- Perform root cause analysis of issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Continuously improve and optimize the QA process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in manual and automated testing.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years of overall experience in QA testing.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in manual testing, test automation, and functional testing.
- Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and techniques.
- Proven experience in designing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Proficiency in test automation using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
- Good understanding of functional testing techniques and test design principles.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

- This is a contract to hire position with the opportunity for a permanent role based on performance.
- The job location is Hyderabad.
