Job Summary: As a QA Engineer at We Dew Solutions Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automation testing. You will primarily focus on using the Playwright Framework to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, contributing to the enhancement of our testing capabilities. As part of the Engineering – Software & QA department, you will work closely with the development team to identify and report defects and participate in the continuous improvement of our software testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automation Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using the Playwright Framework to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience.
  2. Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  3. Test Execution: Conduct end-to-end testing of software applications to identify defects, ensure software quality, and deliver reliable and high-performance products.
  4. Defect Reporting: Log defects in a clear and concise manner using the designated bug tracking system and work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  5. Playwright Framework Expertise: Leverage your hands-on experience with the Playwright Framework to develop and maintain robust and efficient test automation scripts.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in test automation process improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of testing methodologies and frameworks.
  7. Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the Engineering – Software & QA team to foster a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
  8. Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to ensure clear and transparent communication of testing activities and results.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience as a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in automation testing using the Playwright Framework.
  3. Technical Skills: Expertise in using the Playwright Framework for web automation testing is essential for this role.
  4. Testing Concepts: Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  5. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  6. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify, document, and track defects accurately.
  7. Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and contribute to innovative solutions.
  8. Team Player: A collaborative approach to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to team goals.
  9. Work Environment: Ability to work from the Gurgaon office as per company policies.
