Role and Responsibilities:

As a QA Engineer at CitiusTech, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare applications. You will be part of an Agile team responsible for implementing new features, enhancing existing functionalities, and conducting comprehensive testing. Your expertise in Python, Java, Selenium, Linux, and advanced analytical concepts will be vital in delivering industry-leading solutions for our global healthcare clients. Key responsibilities include:

  1. QA Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing, to validate the functionality of healthcare applications.
  2. Test Automation: Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python, Java, and Selenium to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  3. Linux and Analytical Concepts: Utilize your proficiency in Linux and advanced analytical concepts to analyze test results and identify potential issues.
  4. Agile Development: Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
  5. Test Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
  6. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  7. Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing QA processes, and implementing best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 5-8 years as a QA Engineer in the software industry, with a focus on healthcare applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, with expertise in test automation using Selenium.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux environments and advanced analytical concepts to analyze test results effectively.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to think critically.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for technology and a desire to work on cutting-edge healthcare solutions.
