Job Overview: As a QA Engineer at Zessta Software Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing test strategies, executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools and methodologies, and work with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java or Python, ensuring test coverage across different levels of the application stack.
Utilize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools to integrate automated tests into the software delivery pipeline.
Contribute to the enhancement of testing frameworks, methodologies, and processes to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
Collaborate in the setup and maintenance of test environments, including Docker and Kubernetes configurations.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide valuable insights to optimize development and testing workflows.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and trends in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar testing role.
Strong proficiency in automation testing using Java or Python.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ISTQB or similar software testing certification is a plus.
