Job Description: As a QA Automation Engineer at Business Intelli, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automation testing. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts using Selenium Java and Rest Assured, following the TDD/BDD framework. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to understand software requirements and design test scenarios.
- Develop and implement automated test scripts using Selenium Java and Rest Assured to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify and report defects, issues, and risks.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, and test strategy development.
- Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Implement the Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) framework to promote collaboration and efficiency in the testing process.
- Continuously enhance and maintain the automation test suite to ensure test coverage for new features and changes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop and implement effective testing methodologies and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest automation testing tools, technologies, and industry trends.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 4+ years in automation testing, with expertise in Selenium Java and Rest Assured.
- Strong proficiency in creating and executing automated test scripts.
- Familiarity with the Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) framework.
- Experience in testing web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Good understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
