Role Overview:

As a QA Automation Engineer at Talentbot Technologies, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your expertise in automation testing and your ability to design and execute test cases will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. This position offers an opportunity to work onsite at our Hyderabad office, collaborating with a team of skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to understand project requirements and design effective test plans and strategies.
  2. Test Case Design: Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data for automated testing, ensuring maximum test coverage.
  3. Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, identifying defects and issues.
  4. Automation Framework: Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of the test automation framework to enhance test efficiency.
  5. Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  6. Test Result Analysis: Analyze test results, provide detailed test reports, and communicate testing progress to project stakeholders.
  7. Test Environment Setup: Prepare and maintain test environments, ensuring a stable and reliable testing environment.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing, and proactively introduce improvements in the testing process.

Required Skills:

  1. Quality Assurance: Strong understanding of software quality assurance concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  2. Automation Testing: Proven experience in automation testing using popular tools and frameworks.
  3. Test Case Design: Ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
  4. Test Automation Frameworks: Familiarity with various test automation frameworks and their implementation.
  5. Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or any other language used for automation.
  6. Defect Management: Experience in defect tracking and management tools.
  7. Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
