Position: QA Automation Engineer
AM Webtech Pvt Ltd is currently seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the implementation of automated testing processes. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Automation Testing, with a strong focus on API testing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to effectively test software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA team members, to identify test automation opportunities and implement effective solutions.
- Design and implement test automation frameworks and strategies, ensuring scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
- Conduct thorough analysis of software requirements and specifications to identify test scenarios and create corresponding automated test cases.
- Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects using a bug-tracking system.
- Continuously improve and optimize automated testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in automation testing tools and technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Strong expertise in developing and executing automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in API testing is a must, with hands-on experience in testing RESTful APIs and familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies and participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
