Position: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Gurgaon, India
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Spyglass Analytics’ gaming products.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure product stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to understand product requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
- Implement and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests for web-based and mobile gaming applications.
- Continuously monitor and analyze test results, promptly identifying and reporting any issues or bugs.
- Track and manage defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Participate in product design and code reviews to provide valuable insights from a QA perspective.
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce and debug issues, providing detailed information for efficient bug resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing and automation, and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in QA automation, preferably in product-based gaming companies.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web-based testing.
- Excellent understanding of different testing types, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential areas of improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
