Position: QA Analyst – II
Location: Hyderabad
We are seeking a talented and experienced QA Analyst – II to join our team on a contract basis with the potential for permanent employment. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. This position is based in Hyderabad and offers competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize automated tools and frameworks to test websites, APIs, and SQL queries, ensuring the quality of software products.
- Demonstrate proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Have in-depth knowledge of DataLink’s testing frameworks.
- Work with a test management tool like DevOps Test Plan, HP Quality Center, or TestRail.
- Gain familiarity and knowledge of our products.
- Make sound decisions quickly, even with limited information available.
- Learn and adapt quickly to new business domains and technologies.
- Display enthusiasm for software testing and quality.
- Conceptualize and articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Review manual test cases to ensure proper documentation and readiness for test automation.
- Collaborate with the manual testing team to prepare test cases for automation.
- Plan, develop, execute, and maintain automated unit and functional test cases in an Agile-Scrum environment.
- Execute performance and/or security testing for assigned products.
- Contribute to testing tool and infrastructure acquisition, design, development, and maintenance.
- Develop custom solutions for testing multithreaded and multi-process scenarios.
- Configure and run test suite builds in DevOps for test automation.
- Create and configure environments/servers for testing needs.
- Thoroughly document identified bugs, defects, and regressions in a timely manner.
- Record and verify all test results accurately.
- Assess risk and score bugs accordingly.
- Support functional UI and data engineering testing frameworks as needed.
- Take ownership and lead automated regression test runs for product updates.
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Be a supportive and collaborative team player with high integrity.
- Pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy in work.
- Work as an individual contributor.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in software quality and testing with automated tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of DataLink’s testing frameworks.
- Experience with test management tools like DevOps Test Plan, HP Quality Center, or TestRail.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and business domains.
- Passion for software testing and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively as an individual contributor.
- Immediate joiners or those with a notice period of 15 days are preferred.
