As a Python Automation Testing Engineer at MoxieIT Digital, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions, with a specific focus on Python automation testing. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of testing activities, from test execution to issue debugging, and your contributions will be vital to delivering high-quality products. Key responsibilities include:
- Python Automation Testing: Utilize your 4+ years of experience to perform Python automation testing on our software solutions, ensuring accurate and efficient testing processes.
- Test Lifecycle & QA Process: Demonstrate a good understanding of the test lifecycle, bug life cycle, QA process, and related terminology, contributing to the overall testing strategy.
- Linux Device Drivers & Graphics: Leverage your strong knowledge of Linux Device drivers and graphics to conduct comprehensive testing, ensuring the functionality and performance of our solutions.
- Test Execution in Automation Lab: Perform test execution in an automation lab with multiple systems, effectively coordinating and managing testing processes.
- Test Automation Skills: Apply your experience and expertise in test automation skills, with a focus on Python and other relevant tools, to create and execute effective automated test scripts.
- Linux OS Internals & Device Manager: Demonstrate a strong understanding and hands-on experience with Linux OS internals, device manager, and related components.
- Issue Debugging & Isolation: Utilize your hands-on skills in issue debugging and isolation, particularly within the Linux kernel and driver module level.
- Hardware & SoC Understanding: Display a strong understanding of PC hardware, System on Chip (SoC), chipsets, graphics cards, BIOS, and VBIOS, contributing to comprehensive testing.
- Emerging Technologies (Optional): If applicable, leverage your understanding of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision technologies to enhance testing processes.
- Problem Solving & Interpersonal Skills: Utilize your strong analysis and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues effectively. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Tools Proficiency: Showcase your knowledge and experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, and JIRA to streamline testing processes and enhance collaboration.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in Python automation testing, with a focus on software quality and reliability.
- Good understanding of the test lifecycle, bug life cycle, QA process, and related terminology.
- Strong knowledge of Linux Device drivers, graphics, and testing methodologies.
- Experience in test execution within an automation lab with multiple systems, effectively coordinating testing efforts.
- Proficiency in test automation skills, particularly with Python and relevant scripting languages.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Linux OS internals, device manager, and related components.
- Effective issue debugging and isolation skills, with experience in Linux kernel and driver module level.
- Familiarity with PC hardware, SoC, chipsets, graphics cards, BIOS, and VBIOS.
- Optional understanding of emerging technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision.
- Strong analysis, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
