Job Summary: Inspire Brands is currently seeking dedicated and skilled Junior Manual and Automation QA Engineers to join our dynamic team. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products and driving improvements in our development processes. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background, particularly in Selenium Java and performance testing, and have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in QA.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manual Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  2. Automation Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium Java to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of test coverage.
  3. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess system responsiveness, stability, and scalability under various load conditions.
  4. Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to create detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  5. Defect Management: Document and track defects using a defect tracking system, follow up on issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  6. Regression Testing: Conduct regular regression testing to validate fixes and enhancements made to the software.
  7. Test Reports: Generate and communicate detailed test reports, including test results, test coverage, and quality metrics.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and actively participate in process enhancement initiatives.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing, preferably in a software development environment.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Selenium Java for automation testing.
    • Strong knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies.
    • Familiarity with testing frameworks and test management tools.
  4. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure comprehensive test coverage and accurate defect reporting.
  5. Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues.
