Key Responsibilities:

As an Automation Tester with Python expertise, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Python, ensuring the functionality, performance, and stability of software applications.
  • Leverage your experience in Selenium with Java to bring in additional insights and expertise to the team’s testing efforts.
  • Identify and document test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Execute regression, integration, and system testing to validate the quality of software releases.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, sharing your insights on testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in automation testing and quality assurance.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation testing.
  • Proven experience with Selenium automation framework.
  • Exposure to Selenium with Java, adding value to the team’s diverse skill set.
  • Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in automation testing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using Python for automation scripting.
  • Familiarity with Selenium for web application testing.
  • Knowledge of Java for Selenium testing is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with version control systems like GIT or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
