Strong Experience in REST API manual and automation testing
An understanding of requirements analysis, design, coding, and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications
Familiar with agile or other rapid application development

Responsibilities
? Lead the automation efforts by collaborating with team members to design, implement and maintain an automation framework in Playwright.
? Design, develop, execute, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites for Web-based, Mobile, and API applications across different platform offerings.
? Collaborate with QA engineers, software developers, and product managers to identify, document, and prioritize software defects.
? Ensure that the automation framework is up to date and that all changes are properly documented.
? Work with the QA and development team to identify areas where automation can improve the quality of the software and reduce the time required for testing.
? Mentor team members in automation testing best practices and ensure that the team is aware of new automation tools and methodologies.
? Provide accurate and timely reports on progress of automation effort to management/stakeholders.

Required Skills
? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
? 3+ years of experience in hands-on leading automation engineers in the implementation of complex automation solutions and maintenance of large automation suits
? 7+ years of experience in software automation testing, with a focus on leading the design and implementation of automation frameworks
? Extensive experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
? Expert-level programming skills in one or more of the following languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, C#, or Java
? Strong experience in automation implementation with RESTful API Testing and Databases tools such as SoapUI
? Good knowledge of build management and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Gitlab, or CircleCI
? Detailed understanding of software testing methodologies, software development lifecycles, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
? Strong communication skills to effectively convey automation testing strategies and implementation plans to the development and testing teams
? Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
