Position: Automation Testing Engineer
Location: Hyderabad
Lancesoft India Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Automation Testing Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with strong expertise in API testing, Python scripting, and Selenium.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications.
- Perform API testing to verify functionality, performance, reliability, and security of APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create test cases.
- Create and maintain test scripts using Python scripting language.
- Utilize Selenium framework to automate web application testing.
- Identify and report defects, track their resolution, and ensure closure.
- Analyze test results and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and provide input on testing strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in automation testing.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or similar.
- Proficient in Python scripting for test automation.
- Experience with Selenium for web application testing.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Good understanding of test management and defect tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements.
