Position: Automation Testing Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java to ensure efficient and effective test execution.
- Design and implement test automation scripts using Cucumber BDD framework.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, and Rest Assured to validate the functionality and performance of APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop automation test plans.
- Analyze product architecture, domain, and project specifications to design and execute effective automation tests.
- Develop and maintain components that are extensible to test tools and can be used across projects.
- Ensure timely execution of automated test scripts and accurate defect identification and reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve the overall quality of software applications.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices in automation testing.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and effectively communicate test results and progress to the team.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Java for test automation.
- Hands-on experience in using Postman for testing APIs.
- Ability to develop and maintain test automation frameworks as per project requirements.
- In-depth understanding of automation test plans, product architecture, and domain.
- Proficiency in Selenium, Java, and Cucumber BDD framework for automation testing.
- Exposure to tools like Postman, SOAP UI, or Rest Assured for API automation.
- Good hands-on experience in Git, Agile processes, and AWS.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and stakeholders.
- Immediate joiners or candidates available to join in the month of May are preferred.
