Position: Automation Testing
Location: Pune & Kolkata, India
Overview: Capgemini, a global leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation, is seeking experienced professionals in Automation Testing with 4 to 6 years of experience. This role requires expertise in Test Automation using Java and Selenium, along with working knowledge of BDD Cucumber. As an Automation Testing professional, you will work closely with stakeholders to produce testable acceptance criteria, create and maintain automated tests, and perform functional and acceptance testing. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce testable acceptance criteria based on business requirements.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium, ensuring high test coverage and reliability.
- Work as part of a development team to perform functional and acceptance testing.
- Provide close test support to the development teams, including advice on testing as required.
- Hands-on coding of automation test scripts, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Review test cases and their execution, identifying defects and suggesting improvements.
- Understand the existing framework and customize it based on client business needs.
- Develop automation scripts to achieve maximum automation across domains and technologies.
- Be client-facing and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
- Work under minimal guidance to accomplish the assigned automation tasks.
- Stay updated with new technologies and tools related to automation testing to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Strong expertise in Test Automation using Java and Selenium.
- Working knowledge of BDD Cucumber for behavior-driven development.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to produce testable acceptance criteria.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining automated tests with high test coverage.
- Experience in performing functional and acceptance testing as part of a development team.
- Strong coding skills in Java for automation test scripts development.
- Ability to review test cases and their execution, identifying defects and suggesting improvements.
- Flexibility to understand and customize existing frameworks as per client business needs.
- Client-facing experience with excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal guidance to achieve automation goals.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools to maximize automation possibilities across different domains and technologies.
