Job Overview: As an Automation Tester at Net Solutions, you will be an integral part of our Quality Assurance team, working to ensure that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, contributing to the delivery of seamless and innovative software solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
- Identify and document software defects using bug tracking tools, and work closely with the development team to facilitate their timely resolution.
- Work closely with manual testers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and provide valuable insights for testing strategies.
- Collaborate with developers to understand the codebase, identify testing scenarios, and develop efficient automated test scripts.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, provide input on user stories, and actively contribute to the refinement process.
- Collaborate in the implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation testing.
- Mentor and assist junior team members in adopting automation practices and enhancing their testing skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working within collaborative teams.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- ISTQB or similar software testing certification is a plus.
