We are currently looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our team in Pune for a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) role. Job Description: As an Automation Tester at Spruce InfoTech, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automation testing. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium, along with conducting database testing. If you have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing with Java and Selenium and possess strong SQL and database testing skills, we look forward to receiving your application.

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium for web application testing.
- Conduct database testing to validate data integrity and data-driven functionalities.
- Work as an individual contributor in Agile Pod teams to contribute to the testing process effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to understand software requirements and design test scenarios.
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify and report defects and issues.
- Utilize Gitlab for version control and continuous integration processes.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, and test strategy development.
- Work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Continuously enhance and maintain the automation test suite to adapt to changing requirements and technology upgrades.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test deliverables.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of Software Testing and Automation.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Java and Selenium.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in Database Testing.
- Familiarity with Gitlab for version control and continuous integration processes.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor in Agile Pod teams.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
