We are currently seeking a talented Automation Tester to join our dynamic team in either Bangalore or Pune.
Responsibilities:
As an Automation Tester at Spruce InfoTech, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automation testing. You will leverage your 7+ years of relevant professional experience to design and implement end-to-end testing frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber. Additionally, you will have strong expertise in API testing, SQL, CI/CD implementation, and front-end automation frameworks. Your ability to create automation frameworks and automate tests using Selenium will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Testing Frameworks: Design and develop end-to-end testing frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber to validate software functionalities.
- API Testing: Conduct API testing to ensure the seamless communication and integration between different software components.
- SQL Proficiency: Utilize your strong experience in SQL to perform database testing and validate data integrity.
- CI/CD Implementation: Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to enable automated testing in the development pipeline.
- Front-End Automation: Code and maintain front-end automation frameworks using web and distributed technologies like JavaScript.
- Functional Test Automation: Define and automate functional tests using the Cucumber framework to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Automation Framework Creation: Create and maintain automation frameworks, ensuring they are scalable, modular, and easily maintainable.
- Test Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test cases and generate test reports, documenting test results and defects.
- RDBMS and Schema Concepts: Demonstrate proficiency in traditional RDBMS schema concepts and SQL for effective database testing.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices, methodologies, and automation tools to enhance testing efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in QA and automation testing.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing end-to-end testing frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
- Strong expertise in API testing and database testing using SQL.
- Experience in CI/CD implementation, enabling automated testing in the development pipeline.
- Ability to create and maintain front-end automation frameworks using JavaScript.
- Familiarity with the Cucumber framework for defining and automating functional tests.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
